MENNONITE THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE OF EAST AFRICA

On the eastern shore of the grand Lake Victora in East Africa you will find a place of excitement and hope, the Mennonite Theological College of East Africa. The college whose foundations as a Bible School were laid almost 70 years ago is now facing the challenges of meeting the leadership needs of the present generation and planning to upgrade to a full BA granting college as soon as feasible. The great majority of the present official leaders in the Tanzania Mennonite Church were trained in this institution.

The college is now serving the Mennonite communities in both Tanzania and Kenya whose combined adult membership is approximately 50,000. The Board of Governers is made up of both Kenyans and Tanzanians.

As is the case with most colleges in the world, tuition income does not allow for buildings and expansion, so the college is appealing for partners who can bring their dream to a reality.
